As we approach Virginia Media’s Best of  voting period, we have created materials that you can use to help promote your own business and encourage your customers and fans to vote for you.

Below, you will find a series of promotional materials that can be posted on your social channels, printed and posted at your place of business, or printed and handed out to your customer base.  Right click on the image below and opt for DOWNLOAD. The file will be saved to your personal computer and can be posted and printed from there.

Friends 2 Follow

All advertisers in the Best of contest receive are included in our Friends2Follow program, which features live posts from business Facebook pages on all of the Best of pages for The Virginian-Pilot and Daily Press. To optimize the success of this program we suggest that all advertisers to the following on their Facebook pages:

• Change their cover image to one of the downloadable images below
• Post to social feeds, including a link to their category and voting page, along with an image that showcases they are part of the Best of content (see images below)
• Post several times a week with the link, reminding their fans to vote for them and share their messages. The posts rotate as new posts populate from other advertisers so frequency is key.
